The following Shopify permissions are used:

• read_products – To fetch and display product details such as title, image, and price so merchants can configure sample options.
• write_app_proxy – To securely display sample-related options and pricing on the storefront using Shopify’s App Proxy.
• write_draft_orders – To create draft orders when a customer requests a product sample.
• read_customers – To count customers interacting with sample features for analytics purposes only.
• read_checkouts – To track sample-related checkout activity and build conversion funnel statistics.
• read_orders – To identify completed orders originating from sample requests and display aggregated reports.

Customer, checkout, and order data is used only in aggregated and non-identifiable form for reporting inside the app dashboard.

We do not collect any unnecessary or unrelated store data.

No payment details, passwords, or sensitive financial information are ever accessed or stored by us.

We may also collect limited technical information such as:

• Browser type, time zone, or general usage statistics (for performance monitoring only).
• Temporary session data stored in browser cookies or localStorage.

How We Use the Information

We use collected data solely to operate and improve the app.

Specifically, to:

• Display products for configuring sample prices and options.
• Create and manage draft sample orders.
• Generate sample funnel analytics (customers → draft orders → completed orders).
• Maintain secure communication via Shopify’s infrastructure.

Analytics & Dashboard Reporting

The app provides a dashboard that displays sample-related statistics such as:

• Total customers interacting with samples
• Draft orders created
• Orders completed from sample requests

All analytics are store-level, aggregated, and visible only to the merchant.

How Long We Store the Information

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide app functionality.

When the app is uninstalled, all associated configuration and stored data are automatically deleted.

Marketing

We do not send marketing or promotional emails without explicit consent.

Communication is limited to product updates, support responses, and essential service notifications.
